Here at LISH Creative, we pride ourselves on working with the world’s most colorful brands. Obviously when Kellogg’s Froot Loops showed up in our inbox, our jaws DROPPED at the opportunity to work with the world’s most colorful breakfast cereal!
We really wanted to think outside the (cereal) box for this shoot, so we hired a sketch artist to help us create a mesmerizing, chaotically colorful video that so encapsulates the fun of a bowl of Froot Loops. 🍓🍈🍋
Art comes to life
If you’ve checked out some of our other food-related videos, you know that we love to get creative with just about any type of medium we can! (Anyone remember our other Froot Loops cereal shoot, where we used glue for milk?! Gross but effective!)
Keeping with that same energy, we decided to do something totally different and really cool for our Froot Loops shoot – hire a sketch artist to lend their own creativity! Here in the LISH studio we love collaborating with other creatives, so it was really exciting to see how the sketch artist was able to recreate our images. It definitely made the final product pop off the page.
It was so crazy to see one of our images be drawn to look so life-like! You could definitely have mistaken the drawing for the actual bowl of cereal, which is what we ended up doing at the end of the video! No, that’s not just your eyes playing tricks on you, it’s movie magic!

The props don’t stop
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Froot Loops?
For us, it’s definitely the infamous Toucan Sam and his crazy colorful striped nose! Remember back when cereal had commercials? I still hear Toucan Sam saying, “Follow my nose. It always knows. The flavor of fruit! Wherever it grows!” (Definitely aging ourselves with that one, but oh well.)
For our second Froot Loops video shoot, we wanted to take the props up a notch (did you expect any less?) by color-coding absolutely everything in Toucan Sam’s notorious rainbow stripes. We got six different colored bowls and spray painted six different spoons to match. To bring it all home we had a wardrobe change from a boring black t-shirt to a sparkly rainbow sweater when we finally served up a bowl of the Loops!
That’s the power of color! 🌈✨
Here’s how the final products turned out!
