Last week, I met my cousin Christy in Downtown LA for brunch at Bottega Louie. She had planned to stop by the Fashion District to pick up supplies for her latest costume design project, so the restaurant’s location worked out perfectly!
The interior was a gorgeous white, wide open space, filled with gold and marble accents. The neutrality really set the stage for their colorful confections and candy-colored gift items. From wine, to sprinkled pretzels, to sky-high towers of macarons, these treats were made for pretty gifting.
I had seen many a colorful macs from Bottega Louie on Instagram, but I had no Idea that they had such an elaborate brunch and drink menu! I enjoyed two eggs with turkey sausage, breakfast potatoes and bacon. Just another reason why breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.
On the way out, I ordered five macarons packaged in the prettiest gold foil flamingo box (it’s limited edition)! From top to bottom: Coconut, Earl Grey, Raspberry, Cappuccino, & Vanilla. Check out the gold glitter on that Earl Grey mac – so dreamy!
