I have been dropping hints for a while now, and if you’re on my email list you already heard the inside scoop, but I wanted to take a minute to share the news here!
I am officially self-employed!
After three years of working in the advertising industry, and life long dreams of entrepreneurship, I finally took the leap! When I first started out, I was working 50+ hours per week at my advertising agency job and producing content on the nights and weekends – it was my creative escape. But when I started to get burnt out, and had to turn down projects because of my day-job, that’s when I knew it was time. I was also looking to spend more time in Los Angeles.
I also rebranded to become LISH creative.
LISH creative is a boutique agency for fashion, lifestyle and hospitality brands. I help agencies and businesses develop strategies, create content, and build communities on social media. It really is a full-suite of social media services and was a great way to combine all of the knowledge I gained at Virginia Tech, with my industry and personal experiences.
Since focusing on strategy + content creation, I have worked with Zico Coconut Water, Motorola Framebridge and Revel & Co, among others, and my work has been featured by Mashable and The Huffington Post.
I’m thrilled to see where this new journey takes me and I’m looking forward to working hard on my own terms to make it happen. Cheers!
