Updated Gear Reveal!

August 3, 2017

In March, I wrote a post about all of my photography gear and it was one of my most popular ever! In the last few months, I’ve started vlogging and have picked up a new lens that I LOVE, so I thought I would give you the updated gear haul (PLUS a video!) here. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments or on my Instagram. Look through & be sure to catch the video at the end. I talk more in depth about my favorite tools!

Tools that I use most often:

1. Canon 5d Mark III Camera // 2. Canon 50mm f/1.8
Canon 35mm f/2 // 4. Canon 16-35mm f/4  // 5. Lexar 64gb SD cards
6. Water resistant SD card Holder // 7. Neoprene lens bag
Vanguard Alta Pro 264AB 100 Aluminum Tripod Kit
9. Canon Wireless Remote  // 10.
Canon PowerShot G7X Creator Kit

not pictured:
TetherTools TetherPro (tether your camera to your computer to see what’s happening!)
Joby UltraFit Camera Strap (fits like a crossbody!)
LimoStudios 10ftx12ft Heavy Duty Background Stand
Savage Paper Rolls (so many colors available, coral is my favorite!)
Norwood Utility Cart (perfect as a laptop stand for tethering and for prop storage)
Fovitec Studio Pro 4200w Softboxes  (I’m currently looking at strobe options as a more powerful replacement for these lights, but they are a great starter kit option)

For Beginners:

Sugar & Cloth’s Cool Photo School (This course up-leveled my skills in an unbelievable way. If you’re still shooting in Auto mode, this will be the best $99 you’ve ever spent)
Canon EOS Rebel T6 (a great value starter camera!)
Canon 50mm f/1.8 ( a cheap and easy way to upgrade your starter camera)

For stop motion GIFs:

1.Vanguard Alta Pro 264AB 100 Aluminum Tripod Kit
2. Canon Wireless Remote
3. TetherTools TetherPro
4. Sandbags (for added stability)
+ Camera, lens & SD cards of course!

For Vlogging:

1. Canon PowerShot G7X Creator Kit
(includes camera, Manfrotto hand held tripod & SD card)
